About Canine Capers

My Dad asked me...... What kind of toy can you give to a Doberman puppy that he can play hard with AND not destroy in minutes?

Well, way back in 1980, my parents got the cutest Dobe, Caesar. He was a great dog, loved to romp and play as mush as any puppy.

We quickly found out that there were NO good play toys for dogs Caesar’s size and weight. What we found either broke, tore in pieces or popped too quickly. Not much in the stores designed exclusively for BIG DOGS.

I have a background in plastics and worked with a molder to develop a DOG BALL. A play toy that Caesar could not destroy in minutes.

This was the start of CANINE CAPERS in 1981. Caesar loved his exercise ball. Then his friends and neighbors wanted one also. Others saw or heard about the IndestructaBALL™ and wanted one too. We were in business. Since then we have sold tens of thousands of balls, mostly the RED 10" size.

We grew slowly by mail order at first and then expanded into sales to wholesale catalogs. We have been copied, but this is the original IndestructaBALL™ DOG BALL.
